April 21, 2007: The Day the Plans Changed

For those of you who do not yet know, all telecommuting positions at Bio-Logic were terminated yesterday at noon, without warning. So Lanse is job-hunting, as will I be after school in June. We will also be trying to figure out what to do with the fact that the company owns (and wants back) nearly all of his computer stuff, including what he's been using for his personal computer, and we haven't budgeted for our land line or our cable modem. Pick an emotion, I've felt it in the last 24 hours. Even some happy ones. But right now I'm depressed, and trying to plan a responsible dinner when all that sounds good is drowning in cheetos.

April 6, 2007

-- We met a laywer yesterday to get our will done. He kinda skeeved me out, but I don't know if it's cuz he's actually skeevy, or if it's just cuz he's a laywer. *heh*
-- We have to do one more (new) fingerprinting card, and our bloodwork. We're sick again, so now the bloodwork is legitimately on hold, instead of all those months when we just forgot. *frustrated sigh* When the will is done, we schedule our last meeting, and VIOLA! (viola? of course! music always has a place!) We just wait around to be approved, and we can get on with the having kids thing.
